A pilot project of connecting the blocks of the District was launched in 2000 and accordingly two community informatics centre, one at Yupia and another at Sagalee were established. Both the CIC's are fully functional and anyone can utilize its services.

                The efforts are on to make it much more people friendly. The email address for both the sites Yupia and Sagalee are arn-yupia@cic.nic.in and arn-segalee@cic.nic.in. CIC is playing a major role in creating awareness among the Govt officials, public, students and helping in creation of databases for district administration.
