DEO office releases election song

Yupia,23rd January,2024:
DC-cum- DEO Shri Jiken Bomjen released a Nyishi song titled “ Ngul ge ralu atam hude hayiku” produced by the District Election Office under the Systematic Voters’ Education and Electoral Participation (SVEEP) Programme at the DC Office, Yupia on Tuesday.
The song has been written, composed and sung by Shri Chera Tania and radio artist Miss Tana Jiri. The song encourages all the voters to exercise their adult franchise consciously without being influenced by money and other allurements.
DEO Shri Bomjen felicitated the singers on the occasion. He also urged all the HoOs to circulate the song widely.
ERO Smt. Dani Rikang, while speaking on the occasion informed that” SVEEP’s primary goal is to build a truly participative democracy in India by encouraging all eligible citizens to vote and make an informed decision during the elections. This is an effort from the DEO ‘s office to reach out to as many voters as possible using audio visual contents.”
HoOs and Admin officers were present during the song release program.
